Terminal block connectors are used to connect wires together, or to connect wires to printed circuit boards or other pieces of equipment. Usually the terminal block has a clamping mechanism that allows for the easy removal of the wires. This is useful for troubleshooting, reconfiguration and maintenance. Terminal blocks also help prevent current leaks and short circuits, as well as increase insulation.
